Private notes, public author pages, and sharing
When to keep prompts private, when to publish, and how public notes appear on your author page and in Explore.
- 1
Private by default
Notes on your pad are private until you set visibility to Public in the editor or overflow menu. Private notes never appear in the gallery.
Step 1: Private by default - 2
Publish to your author page
Public notes show on your author profile so others can browse and save them. You'll confirm before publishing — it is intentional, not accidental.
Step 2: Publish to your author page - 3
Appear in Explore
Public notes also show up in the Explore gallery so others can discover, save, and remix them — no separate submission form.

Tips
